What is Traject?

Traject is a translation company run by Charlotte and Marcel van Luijn. The business was started in March 2007, after we had emigrated from the Netherlands to Öland, Sweden.

Traject is a professional agency with a local profile and an extensive network of clients and partners in Western Europe. We translate for local customers as well as for large, international translation agencies. We specialize in various subjects (see Projects for some specific examples), and we cooperate with external professionals on the subjects and language combinations we do not command ourselves.

Our international customers operate in IT, financial services, consumer electronics, telephone services and retail. Locally, we focus in particular on organisations in the tourism and retail industry, and translations include websites and marketing materials.
